imperfect & inviting

An artist whose work invites reflection, feels timeless, and brings harmony to every space it lives in.

My work focuses on the fluidity of fabric juxtaposed against the rigidity of plaster. The monochromatic tones allow light and shadow to define each piece making them truly unique. I have always gravitated to marble sculptures, being captivated by the sculptor’s ability to carve draped fabric from solid stone.

Minimal and modern, yet warm and inviting; my work echoes the lived in and comforting emotion of tussled blankets on a Sunday morning. While looking for art for my own home, I was inspired to create pieces that are minimal yet inviting and evoked a sense of warmth with interest.

As my work continues to evolve, my focus on texture and color have become a larger part of my work's purpose. All monochromatic, the pieces evoke different feelings when presented in different colors. Being inviting has distinct connotations when seen in  black, white or color.
